About Comfy Dog DaysThe final days of life can scary for anyone, including animals. Now, imagine that you are spending your final days cold and terrified roaming the streets or on a concrete slab in a shelter. Our goal is to rescue as many dogs as our resources will allow and place them loving homes where each dog will receive loving attention, nourishing food, a place to sleep and the medication needed to live out the final days as comfortable as possible.
Who We AreWe are a husband and wife team, together since 2003. For most of our relationship, we were proud parents of a number of furry friends. In 2014, we added a little girl to our pack. We want to teach her to love and respect all beings, especially those who don't have a voice for themselves. A few years back, we lost our first dog to cancer. This was extremely painful for us be we knew that we made her as comfortable as possible in those final days. We also had the support of our veterinarian, who came to our home to euthanize our dog. Being able to say goodbye in the comfort of our home meant a lot to us and I'm sure it meant a lot to Sedi. We want as many dogs as possible to be comfortable right to the very end. That's why we started the Comfy Dog Days Foundation.
Our PartnersWe are a 501(c)(3) organization. All of our resources come from local veterinarians, pet stores and donations.
